Rolling Stamp Project Idea

Rolling Stamps

Rolling stamps give you an easy way to create repeating patterns. Make your own unique and unusual designs using this simple technique!
Take thick rubber bands and wrap them around a sturdy cylinder like a wooden dowel, small rolling pin or brayer. (If using a printing brayer, use a slot screw driver for leverage to remove the rubber cylinder from brayer handle, wrap with rubber bands and replace handle.)
Use an ink pad or printing inks to coat the rubber bands/cylinders. Then roll out on a piece of paper and watch your design develop.

It’s a quick and easy way to add patterns to any surfaces! Try it on a canvas tote bag, make unique wrapping paper or just have fun creating different designs!
